You've never had salmon like this before.

Make This Salmon Dinner Before the Wild Salmon Season is Over

The wild salmon season is coming to an end, and it feels like the perfect time to celebrate two of my favorite things:
salmon and harissa.

My love for harissa started after my first taste of CAVA's Harissa Honey Chicken. If you haven't tried it, you're missing out.

That's why I wanted to create a recipe that combines that smoky, complex flavor with my go-to fish, salmon.

Say hello to my newest salmon dinner: Harissa Salmon.

Now, if you're thinking, "I don't like spicy food," hear me out!

While traditional harissa can pack some heat, you can easily find a mild version at the grocery store or make it at home (following my easy harissa recipe) and adjust the spice to your liking.

I've tested this recipe with my homemade harissa and with New York Shuk's Harissa (my favorite store-bought brand) with preserved lemons, and both versions turned out amazing.

About This Dinner:

  • Perfect for Tuesday night - The whole thing comes together in less than 30 minutes.
  • Sliced or whole filled? I buy my salmon from Costco. They sell it as a filet, so that is what I used, but you can use sliced salmon as well. If not in season, you can make this recipe with frozen salmon, but make sure it is thawed before spreading it with harissa.
  • Make it a feast β†’ You can serve it with a side of lemony quinoa or orzo or on top of a green salad for an easy, healthy, and delicious dinner.

I hope you give this easy weeknight salmon recipe a try and enjoy it as much as we do. As always, check out the recipes and hit reply if I can answer any questions.
